X owner, Elon Musk has announced that the App will very soon, have video and audio call features very soon.
Musk made this announcement via an official post on his X handle.
According to him, users won’t require any phone number to make calls on the App.
“Video & audio calls coming to X:
– Works on iOS, Android, Mac & PC
– No phone number needed
– X is the effective global address book
That set of factors is unique.”, he tweeted.
This will come as a very solid competition to Mark Zuckerberg’s WhatsApp which is arguably the leading App when it comes to video and audio calls across the globe.
