I Am Happy Shatta Wale Has Been Ordered By Court To Pay $120K Plus $10k Interest – Sally Mann Jubilates
Ghanaian entertainment pundit, Sally Mann has indicated that she’s very happy about the fact that Shatta Wale has been ordered by the court to pay 120,000 dollars plus as interest of 10,000 dollars for his failure to show up and perform at the 2021 Wildaland festival.
Shatta Wale was one of the many musicians who were booked to perform at the 2021 Wildaland festival but failed to show up even after receiving his full performance fees of $120,000 for a reason best know to him.
Maverick City Entertainment, the organizers of the event didn’t take it lightly at all as it had a huge potential of denting their brand forever and they had also made payment to him which they needed to retrieve because he didn’t do what he was paid for.
As a results the took legal actions against the SM boss in an Accra High Court.
After a two year legal tussle, the Accra High court found Shatta Wale in breach of his contract with the organizers and has ordered that he pays back the performance fees in full and an additional $10,000 as interest.
Speaking on PowerFM’s weekend entertainment show, Sally Mann indicated that she is very happy that Shatta Wale has finally been shown where power lies by the court and the organizers.
According the controversial pundit, her source of happiness is the fact that Shatta is a braggart and has been hit with such a judgement.
She added that, she was observing to see if Shatta could pay this amount to prove if he is really as rich as he always claims he is.
Sally believed that this is huge lesson to the SM boss and other musicians in the country that they cannot take money from event organizers and behave anyhow they want by breaching contracts.
