Nigerian musician, Rema has expressed gratitude to his senior in the music industry, Bruna Boy for introducing him to the world on a very big platform.
In 2021, Burna Boy invited Rema to perform at the former’s own sold out show at the O2 Arena in London.
Two years on, Rema has successful sold out the 20,000 capacity O2 Arena for his own show on the 14th of November, 2023.
Before the concert, the “Calm Down” hit maker posted an emotional message on his Twitter/X handle, expressing his heartfelt gratitude to Burna Boy for the great opportunity he gave him two years ago. “Before I get on stage, I want to say a big thank you to @burnaboy for bringing me on stage 2 years ago. Today it’s my turn to conquer that same stage and I wish you were here to share this moment with me. Regardless, I’m grateful for the motivation. With love, Rema. ❤️,” he wrote.
