Famous Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress, Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, popularly known by her stage name Simi has revealed that her pregnancy and childbirth have affected her eye sight.
During a recent interview, the Duduke hitmaker, Simi, revealed that on 30th May 2020, she began experiencing problems with her vision during her pregnancy with her daughter, Adejare.
Simi added that, problems worsened after she gave birth, and she eventually had to see an optician.
According to her the optician she went to see diagnosed her of a condition known as hyperopia, which meant that the eye is too short for the focusing power of the lens. This condition is capable of causing blurry vision, especially for distant objects.
The Joromi hitmaker said that, she was initially reluctant to wear glasses, but she came to eventually accept them as a necessary part of her life going forward. The singer now wears glasses all the time, and she says that the glasses have helped very much to improve her vision significantly.
In 2020, Simi released the song Duduke which trended so much across the world to celebrate her pregnancy with her daughter Adejare.
