Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of defunct Gold dealership firm, Menzgold has issued legal actions against Metro TV’s Bridget Otoo over what he describes as a defamation of his character.
In a writ of summons cited by GHNEWSBUZZ, NAM 1 is demanding for a judgement of amount of 1 million Ghana cedis in damages against the journalist for making commentary that dents his image.
The suit is based on a tweet Bridget Otoo made where she called NAM 1 a fraudster and claimed that is was a form of bribe to the police who are supposed to arrest him when he gave them money to pay their customers.
“In which country will a fraudster like @Nam-the-patriot be allowed to do this? This is a form of bribe for the Police who are to arrest him to distribute money on his behalf! Smh F NAM1 is a scammer #Jail him #OccupyJulorbiHouse,” she tweeted.
This didn’t sit well with me embattled business man and he has sued her for defamation.
