Shatta Wale to perform at 40th IRAWMA Awards with DJ Khaled, Popcaan, Burna Boy and others
Ghanaian dancehall artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has been selected to perform at the 40th International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) 2023. The event, with the theme “Reggae Rising,” is set to take place on May 7th at the Pegasus Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica, and will feature a live media press conference.

The IRAWMA 2023 has 135 nominees, including special honours and awardees, who will compete for over 32 categories and the ultimate award in 2022-2023. Shatta Wale, who has been nominated in the “African reggae artist” category, will perform alongside other notable artists such as Burna Boy, DJ Khaled, Gramps Morgan, Popcaan, Sean Paul, Koffe, Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, and Shenseea.

The event will also feature performances from Capleton, Skillibeng, Masicka, Shaggy, Sizzla, Ding Dong, Damian Marley, Kabaka, Etana, Skeng, Dexta Daps, Spice, and many more.
